It's been a while since I've (we) have updated this blog. A lot has been going on! Yes we're pregnant, can't believe it. We weren't trying, but we're happy with our surprise. The baby is due about December 20th, but after an ultrasound we will have a more accurate date. As of right now I'm 9 weeks.. things have been going pretty good. Nausea and tiredness is the worst part, and no desire to really eat anything except gummy bears. No idea what it's going to be yet of course.. I keep having dreams where I'm having twins. As soon as we found out I had a dream that the new place had all pink walls, but I truly don't care either way. I never wanted a boy until my nephew Ryan came along and he's just the best thing in the world. It's cool too because my sister Jennelle is pregnant right now also, but she's due in October so at least her kids will finally have some cousins :)
We moved onto Scott AFB in Illinois (it's about 30 minutes from where we were in STL). We have a really nice 3bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse. I feel a lot more safe here, the base is huge and we both really like it, they have indoor and outdoor pools, a vet, grocery store and exchange, day cares, movie theater, bowling alley, a camping area, a lake, a golf course, paintball course it's like a little gated community. The goal for this week is to get the painting done so we can decorate. I'm trying to find a new job, there's not much but retail work out here but I'm sure something will pull through, i'm going to send my resume around base. School is DONE thank goodness, it feels like this semester was an eternity and I did pretty well, last Final i took i got a 93 which I was pumped about. School in the fall I'm sure will be pretty difficult being in my third trimester and huge, but I can do it and pretty much refuse not too. I've got about a year left and I'm going to try to get it all done as quickly as possible.
We can't WAIT to come home. The following week we'll spend in NY with my family, can't wait to come home - see the ocean and be back on the East Coast.
That's all for now.
