We went to Mardi Gras in an area of Saint Louis called Soulard and had an amazing time. The celebration here is the second biggest in the USA in comparing to NOLA and the third biggest in the world.
We went with a few friends from the station and started off early with Mimosa's and bloody Mary's at about 9am. We went downtown and caught the trolley into the madness. A huge area was blocked off, unfortunately it was FREEZING so in all we only stayed downtown for about 3 hours but got plenty in during that time.
Chase got me tons of beads while watching the parade, good thing he's so tall. The parade was awesome and long, the theme was history throughout time or something like that! I still wish Chase and I made it to the pet parade, but being the day after his birthday celebration we weren't going to be
anywhere at 
10am :)
